Daily Rate: £190 - £225 (depending on experience)

An inclusive and well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking an experienced Nursery Class Teacher to join their Early Years team from September.

The role offers flexibility with either full-time or part-time hours and competitive daily pay.

The Role:

You will lead the nursery class, delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.

The school encourages a nurturing approach that promotes independence, curiosity, and communication.

You will work alongside experienced support staff and contribute to a collaborative Early Years team.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification


• Has substantial experience in an Early Years setting, ideally leading a nursery class


• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development


• Uses inclusive, positive behaviour management strategies effectively


• Works confidently with support staff, families, and wider professionals


• Is not an ECT - prior classroom experience is essential
