
Chef de Partie
I am seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join my cliets dynamic kitchen team.
This is a full-time, immediate start position in Amsterdam, offering a great team environment and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, or vegetables), ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and instructions from the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Supervise and train junior chefs (commis chefs or demi-chefs) working in your section.
- Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in your work area and throughout the kitchen.
- Manage inventory and ingredient orders for your section, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with the wider kitchen team.
- Assist in menu development and innovation as required by senior chefs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or in a professional kitchen environment.
- Culinary training or apprenticeship certification is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
