We're working with our client, a financial services firm in Edinburgh, who is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on an initial 3 month temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity to step into a busy finance function and provide crucial support across the accounts payable process.
Skills/Experience:
Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accounts payable processes
Comfortable working with financial documents (invoices, credit notes)
Experience with accounting software - ideally InforSUN or SAP Concur
Strong Excel skills (e.g.
VLOOKUPs, formulas)
Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
Organised, with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively

Ensure that business health, safety and environmental procedures and policies are followed. , Develop and administer an effective CMMS System, as part of a business group initiative. , Co-ordinate and oversee the engineering stores operation on site, ensuring the Asset Care Team has the necessary resources to maintain PM compliance and react to failures , Based on data and working with a variety of stakeholders optimise maintenance programmes for cost and time-utilisation , Track maintenance KPI data through CMMS to continually improve asset uptime, minimise cost and drive skill transfer to operational teams , Directly liaise with key stakeholders around the site regarding upcoming maintenance activities. , Work with Asset Care team to ensure the company is meeting its legal obligations in line with equipment maintenance and compliance, while maintaining service records. , Track and monitor costs and variances using on site accounting and maintenance software. , Participate in meetings with operations and maintenance teams to review daily/ weekly work issues and backlogs.

This is a permanent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the client relationship management process and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
As a Client Service Executive, you will act as the primary contact for client enquiries and take full responsibility for client lifecycle processes.
You will work closely with investment managers, operations, and other internal stakeholders to deliver seamless and efficient service to clients.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Experience in a client-facing or client-support role within the financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment and investment products/services.
Proven ability to manage end-to-end client administration processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience in managing or mentoring administrative staff is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to represent the firm in client interactions.
