The Position
This is a full-time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Larne
Rate of pay: £25,389 per annum
Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break
Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
Working Environment: Mixed
You will be required to:
Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and stock loaded into trailers against drivers' paperwork and check the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
Delivery Checker's will be confident in their ability to add and subtract without the use of a calculator
Able to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices
The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally
Ensure your own and the team's KPI's are met
Perform and document weekly supervision with each team member
Monitor audit data to provide performance feedback to each team member regarding
output and error rates
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Must be aged 18 years and over

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative
As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.
Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.
Job activities
Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
Maintain integrity at all times.
Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

To carry out stock auditing duties in a fixed site or sites which require shift cover (i.e.
for holidays or long term sickness etc) as deemed appropriate by management.
Maintain and develop relationships and effective lines of communication between RAS, client and client appointed 3PL.
Administrative duties to include weekly time sheets, new starter training and sign off, pre inspection sheets, filling and filing of audit paperwork and soft data entry, scheduling, holidays and uniform requests, any auditing associated task and last but not least conducting audits
Ensure that an efficient & robust service is provided in a consistent fashion at all times to the client, so client KPI's and Ways of working are met.
That all relevant objectives are achieved in a sustainable manner.
That all RAS colleagues are treated in a professional manner at all times.

The Candidate;
You will ideally be experienced in care but this is not essential as full training is provided.Naturally you will be caring, friendly and patient.You MUST be reliable.The successful applicant will require a DBS disclosure, the expense will be covered by the employer.You must be able to drive and have a full licence.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.
About the team
This team works to safeguard young people aged 14-17 when going through CIC proceedings and when leaving care.
Working effectively with connected teams such as children's safeguarding and fostering teams is key to the success of each case.
The team works very directly with each young person to ensure they are settled, can make sense of the changes in care and support changes into adulthood.
About you
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with children looked after procedures as well as adolescent specialist work being desirable.
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' post qualification experience in permanent contracts is essential for this role (a completed ASYE is counted as one completed year).
A valid UK driving licence and car is essential for this role.
