UX Designer
A Senior UX Designer role at an exciting software development house who have been developing a wide range of products (browser, mobile apps, cloud projects).
The company are expanding their UK operations exponentially and are hiring across all levels.
The role of the UX Designer is to evolve existing products and adopt new technologies and modern UX practices, whilst playing an integral role in developing brand-new, ground-breaking solutions.
Working in a growing team, the UX Designer will be working closely with Internal and External stakeholders (including product managers, Scrum masters, development teams and end users).
You will be involved in research, definition and creation of solution-oriented software as well as contributing to UX requirements / cross-product outputs.
The skills of the UX designer includes but is not limited to, discovery, definition, research, workshopping user requirements for a better user journey, testing prototypes, end user testing, mockups and wireframes.
It is important you can influence product owners/managers and be able to justify design decisions through solid reasoning based on UX principles, user research, and product knowledge.
In general, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, HTML & CSS, Office365, Webex, Bootstrap with the ability to develop production-level assets is a nice to have but not essential.
In addition to being part of a growing, energetic, agile team working on internationally recognised products, the UX designer will be working in a professional but relaxed enjoyable environment.

Role: Senior Data Scientist
Location: Oxford - Hybrid working
Who are we recruiting for?
Our client is a dynamic, vibrant company on a mission to maximise the value of grid-scale battery storage.
They are a growing team of exceptionally talented individuals, and are looking for a motivated, focused Data Scientist to join them and play a key role in shaping the future of renewable energy.
What will you be doing?
Develop machine learning models to forecast demand, market prices, and participant behaviour in the GB power market.
Build decision-making "agents" to autonomously navigate the power markets.
Bring your experimental mindset to prototype and develop solutions using the most effective tools.
Are you the ideal candidate?
You have a strong background in Data Science with a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience.
You're passionate about time-series forecasting and have experience bringing forecasts to production.
You're an expert in Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn etc.).
Familiarity with energy markets or battery systems modelling is a plus.
Experience with Bayesian or probabilistic modelling (e.g.
Monte Carlo simulation, MCMC, PyMC, Hidden Markov Models, Stochastic Processes) is a huge advantage.
You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work and collaborating effectively within a team.
