Systems Engineer - Requirements Management

They are currently seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with a specialised focus on requirements management to join their dynamic team.

As a pivotal member of the organisation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of their projects by meticulously defining, analysing, and managing system requirements.

Key responsibilities for this role include:



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to elicit, define, and document system requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.

  • Employ requirements management tools and methodologies to organise, track, and maintain traceability of system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Analyse and validate system requirements, ensuring they are complete, feasible, and meet the highest standards of quality.

  • Contribute to design reviews, providing valuable insights into the impact of requirements on system architecture and functionality.

  • Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, to prioritise and manage changes to requirements, ensuring a flexible and adaptive approach to evolving project needs.

  • Drive the integration of requirements into the broader systems engineering process, ensuring seamless communication between various engineering disciplines.

  • Collaborate seamlessly within the engineering team, contributing your expertise to achieve outstanding results.

  • Participate in internal and external meetings, offering your insights to shape the direction of our projects.

  • Maintain organised documentation in adherence to local operating procedures and industry best practices.



Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
Essential:



  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating your strong educational background.

  • Proven experience in requirements management within complex systems engineering projects.

  • Familiarity with industry-leading requirements management tools and methodologies.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate and optimise system requirements.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a team-oriented environment.


Desirable:



  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches.

  • Familiarity with industry standards related to systems engineering and requirements management.
