Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Our client in Newcastle is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their expanding team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload, acting on behalf of local NHS trusts and private medical providers.

You will be responsible for managing clinical negligence claims from inception through to resolution, providing expert advice to clients, and working collaboratively with a streamlined team of legal professionals.

The role requires a proactive approach, excellent client management skills, and the ability to handle complex cases with accuracy and professionalism.

• Experience in clinical negligence law, ideally at a panel firm, with a sound understanding of NHS and private sector medical malpractice claims


• 0-6 years PQE, with flexibility for candidates with relevant experience outside these brackets


• Strong client management and communication skills


• Ability to work well both independently and within a team


• North East based or willing to commute; candidates from Teesside or York will also be considered


• Availability to work in the office at least 2-3 days per week, especially for newer team members


• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
