Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant support in our school based in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Our client operates a bespoke Autism Centre for children with complex autism needs and caters up to 14 students.

Included is a bespoke sensory garden, forest school, and a large outdoor learning environment.

Location: Bridgewater, Somerset

Shifts: Monday - Friday - 8:30-15:30

Full-time and part-time available

Rate of Pay: £88.94 - £95.00 + holiday pay PAYE

About the role:

• As a Teaching Assistant you will be working alongside a class teacher and fellow TA's including 1-1 support


• Promoting independence


• Indoor and outdoor learning


• Liaising with parents


• Supporting with break times

Requirements:

• Availability to work 8:30-15:30


• Experience working in a classroom-based environment with children and young people with Autism


• Enhanced Child & Adult DBS


• Safeguarding Children
