Welder

An opportunity has arisen for a Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturer within the specialist metalwork sector, producing bespoke structural and decorative components for use across a range of industries.

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be assembling and welding precision metal components to high standards of finish and durability.

This full-time role offers starting salary of :14 per hour for 39 hours work week and benefits.

You will be responsible for:



* Welding a variety of metals, including brass, stainless steel and aluminium (MIG essential, TIG desirable).


* Fabricating structural and decorative components from technical drawings.


* Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.


* Assembling metalwork including frames, brackets, housings and support structures.


* Conducting visual checks and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.


* Using appropriate hand and power tools for cutting, grinding and finishing work.


* Liaising with technical colleagues to ensure product accuracy and compliance.


What we are looking for:



* Previously worked as a Fabricator, Welder Fabricator, Welder, Welding Technician, TIG Welder, MIG welder or in a similar role.


* At least 2 years of welding experience, ideally in a manufacturing or lighting industry environment.


* Skilled MIG welding, TIG experience would be preferred.


* Ability to understand and work from technical drawings and schematics.


Shifts:



* Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 17:30pm


* Friday: 8:00am - 11.30am
