Employment Solicitor

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a well-established law practice in Leeds City Centre.

The Role

As an Employment Solicitor, you'll join a nationally respected team specialising in employment rights.

You'll manage a varied caseload involving everything from initial legal advice to complex litigation.

Acting for trade union and professional association members, as well as private individuals, you'll handle matters across all aspects of employment law including discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, and industrial relations.

Key responsibilities

• Advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, and TUPE.


• Managing litigation in Employment Tribunals


• Drafting content for marketing and legal updates


• Promoting and contributing to the firm's values and community involvement


• Maintaining the highest standards of client care and regulatory compliance.

About you

The successful candidate will be an experienced employment solicitor 6+ PQE with a passion for employment law and claimant work.

You will bring:

• Proven experience managing a busy employment law caseload from instruction to resolution.


• Strong technical knowledge of employment law and procedures.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written


• A commitment to fairness, client care, and collaborative working


• A proactive, confident attitude and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
