About the role/school

An Ofsted Outstanding 3-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest is looking for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school has a strong reputation for excellence and offers a supportive environment for both pupils and staff.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils across the class, with opportunities to deliver interventions and work 1:1 with children who need additional support.


Job Responsibilities

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:




  • Support pupils across the class and deliver small group interventions




  • Provide 1:1 support where required to pupils with additional needs




  • Lead phonics sessions - phonics experience is essential




  • Use strong behaviour management strategies to support learning




Qualifications/Experience


  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




  • Experience in primary schools, with proven phonics knowledge
