We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Edmonton.

The role offers a full-time position starting ASAP, with a salary negotiable depending on experience.



Job Responsibilities


  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning for pupils with SEN




  • Assist children with additional needs to engage fully in lessons and activities




  • Encourage positive behaviour and social development in line with school values




  • Help maintain a safe and nurturing environment where every child feels supported




  • Work closely with teachers, families, and other staff to monitor and support pupil progress




As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be central to the success of the school's mission, contributing to an inclusive and caring environment.

Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will involve hands-on support, observation, and the adaptation of learning activities to meet the diverse needs of pupils.



Qualifications/Experience


  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.

Strong communication, patience, and adaptability are essential for this SEN Teaching Assistant role, ensuring every child receives the support they need.
