Job Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils' learning and development across all year groups.
Working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils who may need additional guidance.
Promoting inclusion and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and general organisation.
Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.
The Teaching Assistant will play an active role in supporting the school's Catholic ethos and values, ensuring that compassion and respect underpin all interactions with pupils and staff.
Qualifications / Experience
To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you must have:
An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
The Right to work in the UK
Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting (desirable)
A positive, nurturing attitude and a commitment to helping children thrive
