Contentious Probate Solicitor

We are working with a recognised Legal 500 law firm in Leicestershire to recruit a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a collaborative and forward-thinking Dispute Resolution team based in Enderby.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Contentious Probate solicitor with a passion for contentious probate to play a key role in the firm's growing dispute resolution offering.

You will handle a broad mix of inheritance disputes, contested wills, and probate litigation, while also contributing to the department's strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a caseload focused on contentious probate matters such as will disputes and inheritance claims.


• Advising clients on estate administration challenges and probate litigation strategies.


• Supporting departmental growth through client relationship development and business generation.


• Collaborating closely with senior colleagues on long-term strategic initiatives.


• Maintaining high standards of compliance, client care, and risk management.

About you

• NQ+ with relevant experience in probate or general litigation.


• Solid technical understanding of probate disputes, inheritance law, and civil procedure


• Clear and confident communication skills with a client-first approach.


• A commercially aware, proactive mindset.


• A collaborative attitude and a genuine interest in helping grow a team.
