A primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for children aged 3 to 11, combining a strong focus on academic achievement with personal development.

Job Responsibilities

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:



  • Support pupils' learning in 1:1 or small group settings.

  • Assist teachers with planning, resources, and differentiated activities.

  • Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and social skills.

  • Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support individual pupil needs.


Qualifications/Experience

To succeed as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need:



  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable

  • Strong communication skills, patience, and a supportive approach
